(they were not actually bloody, it’s a British saying, fear not.) to her family’s joy and despair as they could not stop eating the sugar-filled goodies.

Out of fear of getting diabetes, the young girl’s mother said;

“This madness has to stop!”

But until this very day it has not.

Alli was the name of the child and she kept baking all those years.

One day she even got herself a job as a baker in London where she gained knowledge and continued to spread happiness in form of amazing treats, beautiful cakes, delicious brunches and pies savory & sweet.

As the time in the café's kitchen went by she came to feel sorry for faces that came in asking if something on the pretty counter might be for them, with their gluten-intolerance or vegan-diet.

Seeing their faces becoming oh so sad when they had to say; "No, I’m afraid we don’t have anything for you" broke Alli’s poor young heart.

From that day on she went on the quest of making sure she wouldn’t have to turn anyone away from a cake again.

But not until Alli had been on the other side of the planet on travels once again did she truly realize that that was what she really wanted to do. Make sure Food is for everyone!. Traveling to far away places with friends that were vegan and vegetarian and seeing them having to live off french fries, baked beans and bananas for months made her angry with how unjust the world was.

And after tasting her gluten-intolerant friend’s newly purchased cookies she had had enough! Nothing should taste like that. And no one should have to make themselves like anything with that dry, old flavor although they were in fact brand new.

It is time for a change and if no one else is doing anything then we better take up some spatulas ourselves.
